Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 16, 2026
Flypack Mouse is designed to work entirely on your local Wi-Fi network. We do not run servers that handle your input, we do not require an account, and we do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.
1. Who we are
Flypack Mouse (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is published by Big Small. Contact: privacy@flypack.app. This policy covers the Flypack Mouse iOS app, the Flypack Mouse Server macOS companion app, and the flypack.app website.
2. What the app does
The iOS app sends trackpad, keyboard, media, and app-launcher commands directly to the companion Mac app over your local Wi-Fi network. The Mac app executes those commands on the Mac you installed it on. No input event ever leaves your local network.
3. Data we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or address.
- We do not create user accounts and we do not require a sign-up.
- We do not collect keystrokes, mouse movements, clipboard contents, screen contents, or any other input you perform through the app.
- We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
- We do not sell, rent, or share data with third parties, because we don’t collect it in the first place.
4. Data that stays on your devices
The following information is created and stored locally on your devices only. It is never transmitted to us:
- Pairing code — a 4-digit code generated by the Mac app so the iPhone can verify it’s talking to the right Mac.
- Paired device list — identifiers of Macs you have connected to, stored on the iPhone so you don’t have to re-pair.
- User preferences — trackpad sensitivity, favorite shortcuts, haptic settings, and similar options.
- Now-playing metadata — the title, artist, and artwork of whatever is currently playing on the Mac, sent to the iPhone only while the app is open, only over your local network.
5. Network permissions
To discover your Mac, the iOS app uses Apple’s Bonjour / multicast DNS
(_flypack-mouse._tcp). iOS will show a one-time
Local Network permission prompt. If you deny it, the app
cannot find your Mac. The app does not make outbound connections to
any of our servers while controlling your Mac.
6. Mac app permissions
The Flypack Mouse Server app requests Accessibility permission on macOS. This is the system permission that any app needs in order to synthesize mouse and keyboard events. It is used solely to forward your input from the iPhone to macOS. The Mac app does not read what you type into other apps.
7. Website
flypack.app is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We do not run our own analytics on the site. Cloudflare may process standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp) as part of providing hosting and DDoS protection. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details. The site does not set tracking cookies.
8. Downloads
The macOS companion app is downloaded from
downloads.flypack.app, also hosted on Cloudflare Pages.
Automatic update checks from the Mac app fetch a static
latest.json manifest over HTTPS. These requests do not
include a user identifier.
9. Children
Flypack Mouse is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to export, correct, or delete on your behalf. To remove all data associated with the app, simply uninstall it from your iPhone and Mac. If you believe we hold data about you, or have any privacy question, email privacy@flypack.app and we will respond within 30 days.
11. Changes to this policy
If we materially change how the app handles data, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
